About Dr. Jessica Marshall
Board Certified General Surgeon
Dr. Jessica Marshall was born and raised in Daytona Beach, Florida. She is a fifth generation physician and a fourth generation Osteopathic Physician. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa where she majored in Biomedical Sciences and minored in Public Health, Biophysics, and Classics. She then went on to attend medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida.
She completed her general surgery residency at Hackensack University Medical Center at the Palisades. In 2018 she completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas earning a Robotic Surgery certification as well. She is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery. After initially practicing in eastern Kentucky and Georgia, Dr. Marshall then made her way back to Florida to practice in Palm Coast closer to her hometown of Ormond Beach. Dr. Jessica Marshall is a general and breast surgeon with a focus on minimally invasive and robotic surgical techniques. She is currently Flagler County's only female general surgeon. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling, massages, and playing sudoku

Care Philosophy
Dr. Marshall believes in treating the patient as a whole person: mind, body, and spirit. She also feels it is imperative that patients take ownership of their care and are active participants in their decision making for surgery. She believes that it is important for any healthcare provider to educate patients and empower them to make the best decision they can. She believes in surgery with a gentle touch. She strongly emphasizes kindness, compassion, and professionalism in her practice
